its this fooking dodgy isp... im sure they must run QOS or bandwith throttling.. Bang out of order... Ill move it somewhere else... Anbody know how to convert a 500mb avi to divx or something smaller??

Apollogies for that poor attempt... especially when I work in it... and it didnt work on a 1.8ghz with 1gb ram, 2x 260gb ATA133's and scsi disks as well... Thought it might just be my copy of media player, playing up...

Not sure if it's my machine... but it shows the first frame (a guy stood on the track) and sticks on that frame all the way through. I can hear all the sound though.

 

How big is that file

Even on my 1Mb Cable modem its taking AGES to buffer up!

 

First frame only here too... and twelve meg!! Sound seems to work though as some consolation.

 

pfft website is really slow - 12k/sec ! And connection keeps resetting - i'll try again in the morning i think!

 

its fooked, i get just one frame with the sound, and my PC flies.

 

DAvid use Windows Movie Maker thats quite good at compacting AVi video's etc down
