The fastest one is the one in the middle - it has 200bhp more than the ones either side...

Mike, as you should know. 200 BHP does NOT make it the faster car.

Cool

Danny,
So how much money would you like to put on that? Like taking candy from a baby...

Andy,
Well spotted, and it still has a higher residual value than the Scooby. A good '93 'Scort goes for £12-14k, what does a '93 Impreza go for - £5k if you're lucky?

This particular Escort has an agreed value of £19k (insurance purposes), and I have already been offered just over £20k for it (not that I would sell it) - not bad for a six year old car
LOL

Mike, I seem to remember a nice drive around Silverstone a few years ago. All those pansy RS boys giving it the large of 'I've got 500BHP and gonna kick your ****'. Well where were they, OH BEHIND ME..... And the rest of the scoobs out that day.

Dan

Edited to add: PS Mike glad to see you back in the world of Scoobynet

Cool

Danny,
I wasn't there though obviously, as I WOULD have kicked your ****...

You still got the same silver piece 'o sh!te? Or have you moved up in the world and got a Skoda?

Tongue firmly in cheek (naturally ).

Seriously, what have you done to yours lately?

I crashed mine and bought a girlie 4x4 (see above). Girl-friend owns the blue heap...

From what I have been old, your 'GIRLIE' drives it more than you.

Yes I still have that old pile of ****e. Still as slow as ever, having some further work done at the moment, but taking my time, doing it right. You know.

I was tempted by the Skoda, but thought I would leave it for you to buy, for when the blue oval does its norm and conks out.

I have bought a second car, just for running about in, an RX7. You know, its one of those funny wankel engines.

Hope to catch up with you soon, maybe down that southend place.

Phil,
No doubt about that!

Dan,
Won't be down "Sarf" End until Spetember, as we are going to the ten of the best day at Elvingdon on 04 Aug.

Catch ya later.

Wankel engine for a wan... One of my favourite cars (if it is the latest model)....
