Question

Just bought a Fuji finepix 601. It has a jpeg 1 million pixel setting up to 3.1(6 million pixel ccd) setting. What should I use for posting up on scoobynet.
Cheers,
Mark.

I'd resize pictures to 600*800 for picture posting, any bigger and people won't be able to see all of it!

All those settings are a bit big for modem users or anyone without a big screen. I always take photos at my camera's highest resolution (about 3.3 MP) and then re-size to around 640x480 or 800x600 in Photoshop before posting to Scoobynet.

Use jpg compression set to 60 and 600x400 size. This will get you between 25-30k pics.

Also set the DPI @ 72. this is the highest a monitor can display any more is a waist of bandwidth.
