Default Hawkeye Impreza Spec C

Picked this up beginning of April. Sadly it didn’t last long, 8 miles intact before it needed work.

So got the car back yesterday after a turbo rebuild, cambelt, fuel pump reseated as leaking from seal, and general service.

Current mods.

3 port
Fuel pump
Miltek exhaust
Remap
White line rear arms & arb

Goes really well!

Car is in for a clutch on the 7th of June and I’m hoping I’m going to get some smiles from it after that.

It has done some miles but it certainly doesn’t look/feel like the milage. Chassi is rust free and the paint is very good.

Plans? Well it’s already had the rear arms changed so I’ll be looking at the front end shortly to see what can be improved.

Currently has a set of BCs fitted which are surprisingly quiet but I will change for a set of KW3s or Nitrons towards the end of the year.

Otherwise there is a couple of small door dents to remove, new arch liner required, engine bay deep clean required, and inlet needs painting which will be a pain no doubt.

This weeks list of jobs done.

- Fitted a new set of plugs and coil packs (preventive maintenance)

- Discovered when doing the above that the earth cable was connected to its clamp (battery) and held it with electrical tape…. So fitted a new clamp.

- Went in for its clutch which was a Stage 2 Competition Organic kit with lightened flywheel.

- Downpipe welded as it had a blow on joint.
Today I’m fitting a new gen passenger arch liner now I have managed to get hold of one.

Next weeks jobs? Gas aircon and start looking at bushes…..

Quick pic after clean.
