Impreza Rallycar Custom Pistons :)
Hi folks
still on with slowly building my rallycar
just recieved my custom made pistons forged of course
normally they are either VERY expensive or require lots of machine work to finish
mine just drop straight in only mods required is you can add a small dish to get required compression
they are 92mm standard ej20 flat top design with valve cut outs, you can see from the picks they are excellent quality
i doubt there are many rallyboys on here needing pistons but i can get more if any 1 wants and they are cheaper than any others you can get
im coupling them to forged steel rods with arp bolts
its also having a ARP head stud n nut kit and competition head gaskets that should be ok up to 1000 hp my target 300ish bhp should not bother them
just need a uprated oil pump and some competition spec engine bearings and i can start building set of vernias would be nice aswell

well the car spec is
fully welded in custom cage fitted by me 15years profesional welding experiance every weld is spot on unlike alot of so called profesional installations -I can fit a cage for any car to this spec
it has kazz/cusco front and rear diffs plated motorsports items
os giken twin plate paddle clutch and flywheel assembly
fully rose jointed suspension
proflex 3 way adj platform struts 0 miles from rebuild
NEW spec MRT 5 speed dogbox with steel forks and uprated centre diff
prodrive seats
luke 6 point 2006 spec harnesses
my own design bias adjustable pedal box
hydraulic handbrake
brakes are undecided i have some std 4 pots but i may fit a combination of superlight front dynalight rear with 300mm disc's and alloy bells to clear 15" alloys for forest use
front mount evo6 intercooler
self made decat downpipe fully flowed with lambda takeoffs
self made exhaust single box 60mm o/d
going to have a flat bottom floor fully skidded rear suspension with polyprop etc
as its going in the woods
the engine is having
hi compression forged pistons
forged steel rods- not billet machiened forgings are stronger and better
arp head stud & nut kit
competition head gaskets as used in drag strip 7000bhp applications :0
cams are staying standard sti for the moment
could do with some vernia pulleys once ive sourced some
competition oil pump
motul 15-50 double ester oil
its going to be ultimate club gpA spec really
possibly available for hire to some drivers -idiots need not apply
