Default First Impreza - Wish me luck!

Well after owning 28 Evos in my life time and having one so good I won’t drive it, I thought it was about time I tried the competition.

So here she is, (hope owner doesn’t mind me using pics) 2002 bug eye wrx with a **** load of work done. Low miles and appears to be in great condition.

Car will shortly on route via trailer to C1-R for a major service to include belts and all fluids and what ever else it needs. £1350 spent before I even get to see/drive it so wish me luck!

Spec and some pics 😎😎😀😀

Happy days!

SC450 package with the following spec/parts fitted.

2.5 litre fully forged engine
2.5 litre AVCS cylinder heads

Wrapped headers

Welcome from the dark side then! Nice spec, I really like Bugeyes, but not totally crazy on the front bumper.

Haha, that spec is mental!! I don't think this will represent your average impreza but sure won't be boring. Definitely looks the business!
Good luck and let us know how you get on with it, especially compared to 28 evos!?!

That looks fantastic mate! Welcome! I think there maybe more to come if an sc450 package is only making 420 but as they say it’s about how it drives and not about boasting about figures. My current blob widetrack only makes 340 on the standard vf35 but it drives a lot better than my old blob running 480bhp....as I running out of things to buy for it I will be going to the clinic for an sc42 though 😁😁

Welcome to the forum. I hear the evo is rawer than a suabru. Having extensive history would you agree?

Cheers folkes, I’m sure it will be very enjoyable to drive although very different to a Evo.

As long as it’s quick, loud, handles well, lag free and stops as good as it should I’ll be happy.
