The main things to look for would be to check it's not stolen or been written off/accident damaged etc. Also, with the engine running remove the oil filler cap and check for excessive smoke blowing out and also check there isn't excessive pressure blowing out with the beat of the engine,a little bit is normal but anything more than that could be a knackered engine.
Check that it's been run on decent oil and changed regularly.
Everything else is pretty much the same as buying any car.
Hope that helps

Gorgeous WRX by the way 340BHP-WRX. Mines silver too and I think it's the best colour for a classic.

Thanks mate the cars listed as no damage history with bimta cert & service books.I will be the first uk owner.Checked it over for the usual looks spot on.I did`nt know if there were any common faults on the scoobs. Its got 6months warranty with it.So hopefully any faults will be ironed out in the first 6mths for FREE.Or thats the plan.

I knew that I'd seen that lip spoiler before. I've got a folder full of parts, & suppliers who in the future I wanted to order from.
It's a P1 "style" front lip spoiler only available in the UK from "D R Motorsport" in West Lothian. I'm getting one eventually because I think that they look really nice, something different. Last I knew they were around £180-200 painted! Good value I thought.
But it's definately not a P1 lip spoiler but who cares if it looks good , which it does.

I've got all the receipts somewhere for the bodywork bits/pieces. I'll go and have a look through them and see what I can find.

The wheels in these pics are going to be up for sale as they won't fit over my Brembos I'm going to get myself some Revolution Milleniums in Anthracite
If anyone is interested in these wheels then please let me know,it's just the wheels without tyres unless someone offers me a price I can't refuse for both.
They are 5x100 pcd but I think they can also be fitted to later models with 5x114 pcd as there is different bolt holes with plastic covers on that can be removed
