looks nice mate. how does it drive with the VF43? 313bhp sounds quite low for a VF turbo? Unless it's a very conservative safe map.

About time you got some pics up. Looks really clean mate, get those headlight backgrounds painted black for a more stealthy look.

How do you mean mate? What part of the headlight backgrounds?

It drives really nicely with the VF43, spools up very quick, and in fifth gear its really torquey, really needs a sixth gear

Yes, I think it may of had a map within the gearbox limits, but the power does come in with one big hit at just above 3k rpm, very aggressively, that's why I am
going to get a live map done, across the whole rev range

From what I've read it's a headlight in the oven job then split/paint/put back together.

different mods, different dyno, different mapper and different car mate lol

Perhaps the previous owner wanted to play it safe and asked for it to be mapped around the 315bhp area

Yes, understand every car is different lol

That's what I am thinking mate regarding the remap, especially as the guy that owned the car had already paid out for the engine
rebuild beforehand

What boost are you running? You could always ring thwaites and ask them about the bhp.

Spoke to Tony at Thwaites today, he found the car okay, but said he can't find out the boost from a graph, because he said it would
of been remapped on there old analogue dyno, and they now have an electronic one. He did say the engine work and remap where
done for a company called Anderson Motor Vehicles based in Luton, I looked them up and they do sell quality cars, but not many.

He did say the car should be running about 350bhp with the mods done, but said maybe the customer asked for it to be limited safe,
as you have said. Nice guy, and offered for Mark to look at the car again, and would charge for just a remap tweak. Not really sure
what to do as I have spoken to Bob Rawle about live mapping the car with the Ecuteck software.

Car is booked in with Thwaites to have a remap tweak in April

Bought some NGK Iridium IX spark plugs, having new brake pads fitted soon, along with a Racing Lines uprated fuel pump, and just purchased a
Cosworth panel filter to fit. Just about to buy some Blob eye rear light cluster set from Matty, all good stuff, car needs a good clean at the weekend too

Black Hawkeye's look so good Give it a proper polish and get that deep mirror shine on it for the summer! What pads are you going with?
