Default Banzai Magazine Feature Winter 2018 - My old Type R

I know she isn't my car any more, but I was contacted by the Banzai magazine editor after he spotted some pics of my car in a photographer's portfolio and he asked who owned it. He passed on my details and with the permission of the new owner () I let them do the feature on it whilst it was in my ownership.

I am quite proud of the way it turned out...and at the same time it sort of ripped my guts out that I had to let her go.......but at least I know she is being well looked after and cared for where she now resides. At least I have a nice mag feature to keep as a souvenir

Not everyone's cup of tea...but I loved it and that's all that matters

Awesome

Great write up on the car and pics, they ****ed up with the poster though, it’s not in the centre like it should be.

P.s I remember when you had it for sale and if it weren’t for the fact it sold in record time I think I’d have bought it.

Thanks Bud -yeah I didn't even know there was a poster in there as it was about 6 or 7 pages after the feature by itself.

I remember you commenting on the for sale thread at the time...it never hung around long and even after I accepted the asking price offer from the current owner there were about 10 offers for it over the asking price after that, but I had already accepted his offer and he was a local guy that I knew quite well and a nice bloke too, so I wasn't going to do him a bad turn.

When I seen the car further on in the mag from the actual feature I thought “that’ll go up on the wall at work”.....then realised it was 2 pages ish before the middle so no use

P.s unless mine is miraculously different to anyone else’s, can anyone back me up on this? lol!
