Default My first Scooby. Blobeye wrx

Hi guys just wanted to post a couple of pics of my 2003 blobeye wrx. Only just bought it and its my first ever one. Looking to make a few cosmetic changes (wing mirrors) and else some mechanical changes. Just doing a lot of research at the moment whilst trying to figure out where to begin.

Cheers mate, I was really surprised how clean it was considering the age of it. A good base to start I think.

Found out it has the full PPP package which I'm happy about. At first I thought a previous owner had just found a prodrive exhaust and stuck the spoiler on.

The Spoiler is not part of the PPP package. It was a standard fit on the UK300 and an option from Subaru UK.
The PPP package was a generic bolt on upgrade and can be overwritten with a bespoke map.

Yer I did think the spoiler was from the uk300's.

Am I likely to see any improvement with a new map but keeping the ppp stuff? Or is it more worthwhile to get a new exhaust system and any other relevant bits etc?

The PPP map will be overwritten if you go for a remap. The PPP bits can stay including the exhaust but I would recommend an uprated fuel pump and good panel filter to get better fuel delivery and breathing respectively.

My WRX wagon reached 276 bhp with ECUTek remap (uprated Walbro fuel pump, K&N panel filter and de-resonated centre pipe) but the numbers were not what I was looking for. The general performance and driveability was the real bonus.
