HI All,

I'm somewhat p*ssed off... I have a 2006 hawkeye wagon 2.0 Sport R. I need winter tyres as it's heading to the French Alps. Currently has 16 inch standard wheels. I bought some 17 inch Sti alloys on eBay and ordered some decent winter tyres. Seems the Stud pattern is different... Is this right? Everywhere I have looked online suggests they should fit...

At my wits end... any helpful words would be appreciated.

Depends on what STi wheels you bought? If they are off a Widetrack (2005 onwards) PCD is different (5 x 114.3 as apposed to 5 x 100)

check inside rim for pcd usually stamped in, i would say you are going to need 5x100.
