Default New to me impreza hatch

Hi there all, just got my second impreza after having a n/a bugeye wagon as my first car. I just came from an s3 which was quick but nowhere near the torque of the new toy. The handling does feel a little vague/sloppy in comparison but I'm thinking perhaps a refresh of bushes/perishables may rectify this? Down the road once a few more routine bits are sorted going for a sports front cat, resonated system panel and remap. Does this car respond ok to this or should I wait out and save for an sti? Finally thanks to all whose threads have proven useful in the period I've been a lurker. Will Hampshire, UK

Hi,

Looks like a tidy car and the same as I had before my STi. Generally, most don't recommend more than a decent panel filter, exhaust and remap before you start getting into "should have got an STi" territory. However, there was a guy called Clyne on here who put together a fantastic WRX hatchback so would be worth looking him up.

Welcome by the way!
