Default My STI progress over 3years ownership

Just realised I've had my car 3years now so thought I'd do a little post of what's been done to it in that time.

Started off like this

Gave the wheels a bit of colour

Got some new wheels and a carbon splitter

Had some engine work done. SC42, 850cc injectors, FMIC, GT Spec headers and a couple of other bits. It's now producing 410bhp
(Terrible picture)

More carbon

New brakes and wheels

Lowered it a bit, and this is how it sits at the minute, with a touch more carbon

Still got loads of plans for it. First up is to paint the fog duct and the wheels. Then looking at cage, seats and bigger brakes again before the winter. Probably looking at more power next year, but we'll see what happens with my job

It won't be to everybody's taste but I'm happy ish with how it looks for now

Cheers. The white wheels are Work Emotion Kiwami. The diffuser was a pain in the **** to fit but worth it IMO

Thanks, I think haha. I'm not sure what the marmite mods are, but I'm reasonably happy with the outside of it at the minute.

White wheels are often marmite but I like them, and the writing on the sidewalls was not a mod I'd have done on anything but a 60's American muscle car

Haha, I liked the tyre paint. Them wheels are just for track use and are now white so I think I'll be doing it again, in white

Stunning motor... Good job. The 2nd set of wheels, the white Works, they are too sexy And i like the tyre lettering, works well with the wheels.

Christ on a bike I'm worrying about forking out for a set of nice wheels and you've had about 20 sets of awesome wheels in 3 years

Lovely motor

Cheers gents. These wheels will be going white at some point over the summer as I'm not a fan of them as they are, unfortunately they were only available in black

They are both carbon. However, I don't like the *** duct as it is and will be going blue when I'm home in a couple of months

Thought it looked great with the white wheels.

Will look better once you've painted the fog duct and the wheels again.

Never had a build thread on here mate, although I've put a few pics on at random points

Thanks, I agree. Although, there a lot of cars with white wheels at the minute so I'm considering gold, or maybe something else

Should be ordering some new brakes today and going straight for a respray

Got my new brakes fitted and started to make myself a new splitter

Splitter isn't finished yet, but I'm happy with the shape of it I think
