Default Autoglym Headlight Restorer

Hi All

Used the Autoglym headlight restoration kit tonight and very very impressed indeed..... Massive difference as the headlights were very yellow and misty.

Any paint restoring compound will do the same thing (providing the ag kit doesn't apply a uv coating - no mention of it on their website).

I've used just normal paint cutting compound. The problem is it will just fade again, ideally you need some form of lacquer on there aswell.

My process for restoring headlights;

1200g to 2000g wet and dry , then move on to machine compound / polish / meguiars plastic x then apply a coat of wax to finish off.

Some people asking about the UV protectant, I just keep my lights clean and wax them say every 3 or so washes. They haven't seemed to deteriorate at all

Matt.
