Afternoon all.

Welcome to the progress thread of my 2005 FXT.

It is my second Subaru after previously owning this...

I left Subaru ownership a few years ago when I bought my first house but i was always desperate to get back into one. I have always been a fan of the Forester and when the time came to change cars i was pretty sure what i would end up with. Still, it took me over 4 months to find a car but eventually settled on this 2005 XT in Sierra Gold Metallic which has now affectionately been labelled The Golden Nugget

The first, and only thing i have had time to do was to quickly clean the headlights as they were looking a little tired

But plans are as follows:

New wheels/tyres
Full exhaust system
Larger top mount
WRX suspension
High flow air filter
Remap

Specifics on the above are yet to be determined and may well depend on how tight finances are.

Anyway, i will update this thread as i go and hopefully there will be some progress soon!

That impreza, you must regret parting with it. Stunning

 

Sort of. But my situation at the time meant i couldn't keep it. I am sure i will own another one at some point.
