Default New Hatchback

Hello all,

Finally put an end to the events of the last 2 months by buying myself another hatchback - a 2008 STI in WR blue. I put pen to paper today and am picking it up next Tuesday.

Anybody know anything about it (Reg: CE08 0ZT)?

It's fairly low mileage, in good all round condition and can't wait to get hold of it and tweaking it. Pics to come next week.

~excited!

I had a WRX hatchback that was written off by an incompetent mechanic during a routine service. The garage finally admitted liability and after a long drawn out process their insurance company have paid up.

I bought an RX8 4 weeks ago to tide me over whilst it was ongoing, though can't wait to get in the STI. I have a lot of plans for her.

Have to say yours is looking great Salsa-King, may be borrowing some ideas there.

A Subaru dealer smashed my old Spec D up taking it out for a drive during a service.

There would have been a lot of awkward questions to answer but no questions asked they near rebuilt the whole car and put me in a Legacy spec B for two months while it was all being sorted.

Sounds to me like you've done okay out of it though, the STI hatch is a great car especially with some choice mods but the WRX version a bit of a dog imo.

No, I had an oil change at the same time as the MOT and they dud not re-tighten the sump bung properly. I was driving down the motorway when it came out, engine exited all of the oil and that was the end of the engine.

Had an independent engineer look at it before I went back to the garage which made it hard for them not to accept liability, still took 5 weeks to sort though.

I really enjoyed the WRX, though sam pleased to gave upgraded.
