Just an update for those that saw my mid-fitted pics
Gauges are finally fitted after spending a lot of saturday and bit of sunday fitting them.....
Quick few thanks
John Banks and Scott.T for the AFR information and technical phone support
Nick (Chiark) for the extensive information on fitting gauges
Mook and Jason at MJ Designs for the gauges and the hell we went through trying to get some limited stock ones frmo the states just to be different only to give up and go for Autometer ones instead The customer support was excellent guys
You lot for reading this and putting up with the pics and delays As far as I know, no-one has done this yet on the Scoob, and hopefully it might be a way for the pre-MY98ers to get some gauges sorted.
Cheers
Steve

Because I use the top box a lot more than the air vents! In fact, I can't remember the last time I had the vents on the forward setting.....
I'm forever chucking stuff in there and I don't particularly like the look of the pods (apart from the Defi one but I ain't paying that amount of money!). Put it this way, my pod cost me all of about 5 quid and you know how much of a cheapskate I am
....and I like to be that little bit different

Looks nice, the white goes well with the speedometer(duh). Whats with shift lights? I mean the switch, can u turn em off or is it for switching on some kind of radar?
Not to be pushy, but the lights are not in a straight row....

The lights are the DIY Air Fuel Ration meter.....and yes, the lights are slightly out of line, but then I never have been a precision driller
The AFR has an on/off switch so that I can use it when I want to so that I don't have LEDs distracting me all the time whizzing up and down
You can see the DIY AFR thread here : DIY AFR
