What do those eibachs ride like.? Bumpy or relatively smooth.? Ive prodrive reds on my sti and think I want to be able to drop it ever so slightly more, particularly at the front.
I thought about this too, but have heard that the ride with some coil overs can be harsh on our roads, plus I don't think I'll be putting the car on the track anytime soon, so I'm happy with the Teins on mine. It is my daily driver too, so I don't think my spine could handle such a hard setup with coil overs.
I had Hks coilovers and on softest setting was horrid, I had bc on my evo 7 and softest setting was great but quality off the kit? ****! They came loose, knocked, rear top mounts knocked, then they agreed fault with top mounts please £100 to us to fix, sod off,
So my answer,
My sti used ultra sr, sti GPN mounts and h&r springs, brilliant combo,
Love the look of the Teins but I've read a lot of negative reports on them being "too low" and not strictly suitable for the standard shocks (no experience myself and no personal opinion, only what I've read and was directed to when I was enquiring about them myself). There is a whole thread dedicated to why no one should buy them on the NASIOC site I believe. shame if it's true because I love the look they give the car.
