nikh667 the Eibachs are a bit hard to be honest and the fronts are a bit noisy.

Might have to bag some of those teins, the ride height looks spot on.

for normal day to day driving, would any of you say the extra cost of coilovers is worth it over a set of springs?

All i am really after is to get away from the tractor look with the massive gap between the wheel and arch.

tein springs.. £150
coilovers.. £770

I know the coilovers will go lower than the springs, but is it worth all the extra ££ when I will not be doing any track work etc.

thanks
ian

I thought about this too, but have heard that the ride with some coil overs can be harsh on our roads, plus I don't think I'll be putting the car on the track anytime soon, so I'm happy with the Teins on mine. It is my daily driver too, so I don't think my spine could handle such a hard setup with coil overs.

Love the look of the Teins but I've read a lot of negative reports on them being "too low" and not strictly suitable for the standard shocks (no experience myself and no personal opinion, only what I've read and was directed to when I was enquiring about them myself). There is a whole thread dedicated to why no one should buy them on the NASIOC site I believe. shame if it's true because I love the look they give the car.
