My Impreza WRX 2010 PPP
Hi,
This is my Impreza WRX.
It has the PPP pack on it including the slightly larger rear spoiler and the 18" Prodrive wheels.
29k miles
I have a definite transmission whine on it, especially in 2nd so it will be going back into the garage to get that looked at.

Going to get a slightly smaller silencer box installed on the rear as it's huge and even with the prodrive system it doesn't sound very loud at all. Very little burble

Looks decent in red.
The Impreza drivetrain can make some odd noises but the five speed boxes on WRX cars are generally weaker than the six speeds on the STI.
Do you have any modifications planned for your car?

More burbly exhaust than the prodrive one and the sti grill. What are the tail light overlays?
Should the box whine though. It's definitely drive train and it's not there in 3rd or 4th but it's audible in 5th.
2nd is definitely the worst.
subaru just serviced it with new gear and diff oil.
It drives perfectly but it's noisy. Put the window down and it sounds exactly like a supercharger

Lee at Power flow replaced the huge silencer on the back with a smaller one and it sounds so much better! Not loud in the car but the burble was there the whole time just hiding away
