evening all,

After a long line of cars i finally bit the bullet and got an Impreza. Its an 03 Blobeye totally standard other than a Prodrive backbox. It was the Subaru garage (Northampton) owners car for most of its life and the only problem with it was the paintwork.

Future plans are de-resinated and catted centre section (if i can work out which is the right one) and a new spoiler as i dont like the one on it.

Anyho
A few of my previous motors

And the Impreza
The paintwork was this bad all over

Taped up ready to be hit with a DA polisher (Meguiers compound then Poorboy's Blackhole)

Positive and negitive comments welcome

Thanks and i'm not a fan of the raisers.

I won't take anything bad said against the Panda. That thing was a giggle everytime you drove it. A cracking little car

welcome,

Again another vote for binning the risers, nice clean example though.

Nice collection of previous cars too, really enjoy the Panda for some reason!

It's refreshing to see a new Subaru owner that knows how to handle a DA . Hopefully you'll keep the Subaru fairly standard or at least tastefully modify it? I wouldn't sit in that Fiat Panda even if someone paid me to. Hideous!

Lovely job you've done with the paintwork there. I'd lose the wing risers if you don't like them, I don't think the wing looks like it sits right with them on.

You can extract some potent performance from one of these cars with simple mods but it's not worth going overboard on a WRX.

Best thing to do is look at uprating the brakes, the OEM ones are quite poor. A popular mod is uprated pads and discs but you could go for some STI Brembos. A set of coilovers wouldn't go amiss, and you can consider uprating the exhaust (Miltek, Prodrive) and remapping the car - and if you want over 300bhp to take an STI fuel pump, 550cc pink injectors and a VF turbo.
