Not a huge fan of the wheel arches or the wheels but each to their own.

What's going on under the bonnet?

A bit too much for me. The arches dont suit it and the wheels dont look right either. Its a shame to ruin limited edition.

I like it, if it was me, I would *** a duckbill or some other type of boot lip spoiler

I like it but think it needs a big wing to pull the arches off properly

Yep, needs a rear spoiler and not a fan of the reverse scoop personally.

More a case of rescuing a limited edition then ruining. Was rusting away at scoobyclinic and due to be broken. So while restoring thought id get more bang for my buck

Think spoiler less really works with the arches

Very marmite. Personally I'm not a fan and I'd much rather have a standard RB5 over this. I think those arches would only work with a huge **** wing spoiler and a massive front lip... on a race track.

I like It but there is a couple of bits that need changing.
The wheels don't suit it. Maybe in a darker shade they would look better, they just look too big as they are.
And the reverse vent is awful. Not sure if they are still available but I got mine from ets. It was a slatted vent which look much better.

Other than that it looks good. Spoiler less is deffo the way to go with classics, especially with those arches.

Is it all look and no go ???? What's the spec fella ?

It's not like the RB5 was anything special in the first place, let's be honest.
It's a UK turbo in a nice colour.

Looks better than a standard one imo. Wheels are a little too wide unless it's running 450+ hp

Add a very unsubtle boot spoiler and it'll look spot on IMHO - very, very nice

I must agree. This is what is happening to numerous classics, good for purists and retention of value, poor for the GC Impreza. I would have been more tempted to restore in the long run.
