Was running coilovers, NO arch mods, NO camber bolts, had to run a 5mm spacer on the front to clear Brembo's!! Never had any issues with rubbing, didnt feel any different from the 18x8.5 hatch 2012 STi wheels or the standard 17s tbh.
Mate runs slightly wider 235/40/18 on 18x9.5 Rota grids and he is running Tein springs, with NO arch mods, No camber bolts without problems either!!

Would probably look better with 18x8.5, Always thought Spec C's with wide wheels dont suit, as they have no sideskirts, and the car is basically a road/race/track version of a standard STi, so no point adding extra weight as its supposed to be designed for more go then show!!
Think motorsport style wheels would suit the Spec c much better, like Speedline Turinis or Team dynamic pro race or something more track focused wheel.

Excuse the poor quality they were taken off my phone! Im sure they are 18x9 will have to double check lol. In all honesty I think the rota force are one of the best for the looks on a hawk, I have no issues with them what so ever.
Mine have recently been refurbed in charcoal anthracite and as you can see got the sti wheel nuts and I can say im over the moon with how it all looks. Next on the list is to renew all the polly bushes
What wheels to you currently have on yours?
Greg.
