Default Newbie with 2003 Impreza WRX

Hi All

Not sure if I have posted in the right area, I'm Mike from Lowestoft and bought my 2003 Impreza WRX at the beginning of the month, I have owned a variety of cars and by variety I mean 12 to be specific which doesn't sound like a lot but this is my 6th year of driving... I have always wanted an Impreza or 350Z and after being left disappointed after test driving the Z my mind was made on the Impreza...I have had a few teething issues which I have outlined on another forum I am a member of and for anyone wanting some bed time reading material, details can be found here...

http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/forums/f...-at-rest/page5

Other than that here are some pics of my mistress when I bought her..

I had the car looked over by Barry Adams at Hammond Subaru and except for a few niggly issues outlined in the other forum the turbo, engine, diffs and clutch are all in superb working order, he was quite open and said considering the age it is one of the cleanest he has seen completely standard with 3 previous owners being older gentlemen, full service history a load of receipts

Not much has been done so far however I have fitted a afterburner vortex cat back system which sounds awesome and shows off the iconic flat 4 burble. I have just today parted with £320 for 4x Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 2 tyres so will wait for my bank to recover before continuing...

Plans:
STI de cat up pipe
centre cat removal
Sports cat down pipe
Up rated panel filter
3 port boost solenoid
255 fuel pump
MAYBE an STI spoiler... I'm on the fence about keeping the OEM WRX look
Racedynamix remap

Anyway...that's enough... look forward to speaking with you guys in the future

i enjoyed seeing my low level spoiler in the rear view mirror, shame it looks waft from outside really, get the STi spoiler WITH the bootlid if you have room to spare. Then you can chop n change yer bootlid (instead of the whole car every 6 months)

That's the pain in the ****...at certain angles and when driving I don't mind the spoiler and I agree, the 'sleeper' look is something I am aiming for but then I see an STI drive past and think 'nope that thing has got to go'...
