Decided to give it a clean today, The paint wasn't in the best of condition
Gave it a going over with fast cut & my buffer
Gave the engine bay a quick clean aswell
Need to clean the exhaust up properly
Plans for Tomorrow are to fit these that I had for my Wagon
Also going to fit the STi side skirts that got thrown in with the deal at the same time

Not really done anything to the car but decided to re do the wheels Today.
Had a look in our paint cupboard at work & decided on a colour that we had a couple of spare tins of.
Started off with some 240 grit on my DA sander
Then went over again with 400 grit, The edges are kerbed but as I couldnt take the tyres off I had to do the best I could with the sanding tool on my dremel.
Gave then a couple of coats of grey primer
Had my heat gun on them to speed the process up a bit, Then gave them a good few coats of my choice of colour followed by a few thick coats of clear coat.
Only managed to do 2 of the wheels today but will get on with the other 2 hopefully tomorrow.

Since I had the car jacked up and the wheels off I thought I may aswell give the struts, brake calipers and wheel arches a clean and re furb,
The struts were already Red but quite faded so I got a wire brush wheel and my drill and set about taking the rusty bits off
Did the same with the calipers & then gave the struts and calipers a coat of red again. Also painted all the wheel arch cover in satin Black
Went and got a set of replacement headlights aswell for it Today, So thanks to all at CAMS for sourcing them for me (Even though Tim didn't brew up!!)
Took all the front end off as the front bumper wasn't lining up properly & fitted lights along with my replacement Gloss black Grill and a new Metal front reg plate.
The headlights have been de tango'd but were slightly faded so I gave them a going over with some fast cut on a rag.
As you can see in that pic I also made a start on fitting the Rally Flapz that I had for a bit.

Im not too sure on the flaps yet, Seen a few pics with them on & with the right set of wheels they look good.
Will see how it looks when they are all on and the 2 rear wheels are done, Also made a start on fitting the STi 8 skirts.
