99 Impreza Turbo 2000 Uk
Hi all well its been a while since was last on here but have managed to buy another turbo impreza.
I picked it up last week still waiting for the plate to be changed over and dropped it in at my local tuners yesterday for a healthcheck, plug change, clutch and remap.
Its had the following done or so i hope lol :-
2.5 engine, Forged rods, forged pistons, nitro treated crank, tubular headers all heat wrapped, uprated oil pump, walbro fuel pump, front mount intercooler, ECUTEK3 remap, sports cat, air conditioning removed, K&N air filter, FSE twin piston dump valve, P1 rear exhaust system, hybrid turbo not exactly sure what to be honest.
Its meant to be runing approx 300bhp at 1.5 bar of boost but will no better when i pick it back up.
Plans are to get it all cleaned up and running well for the time being.
Im also hoping to get some bigger injectors and turbo if the engine is ok.
The clutch was really smelling and spinning at 4k revs so am getting it changed.
Comments and opinions welcome.

Well car is now at my local tuners and she needs a few bits doing. Getting a paddle clutch fitted to handle some decent, oil leak to gearbox area so assuming its crank main seal, water leak to thermostat area behind timing covers so am getting timing belt done also. Fingers crossed nothing else too serious is found.
May need to get front brakes looked at too as bit poor.

Well looking forward to collecting the subaru up tomorrow from tuners, turns out needed fair amount of work doing to it :-
1.Lower front intercooler brackets where missing
2.Turbo return coolant pipe was rotten
3.paddle clutch fitted and flywheel needing skimming
4.timing belt changed
5.spark plugs changed
6.front caliper rebuild and new pads
7.rear brakes serviced
8.private plates now removed too
looking forward to getting it home and give it a real good clean and oil changed will put some more piccys up when she is clean

Well picked up the scooby on fri night from the tuners so thought would give it a clean.
It ended up needing more than first thought heres a quick list
New paddle clutch
Timing belt
Lightened and balanced flywheel
Brake pads had to be chiesled out of calipers so front brakes have had a full rebuild
Rear brake rebuild
Spark plug change
some piccys after a quick wash and polish
Its running approx 300bhp at moment on the to do list :-
Bigger injectors
MD turbo
Full three inch exhaust
Remap
Hopefully should see just over 400bhp
Comments welcome
