Default Import headlight bulbs

I have a classic V4 type r import. The headlight bulb has blown, but the H4 bulbs available seem to have a different fitting. Was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the import bulbs? Or if I need to 'customise' UK ones to fit.

Thanks Matt

Should be standard bulbs fella, H4 is H4 etc. Are the headlights standard or after market?

Post a pic of your blown bulb and a standard H4 so we can what the problem is

Imported from where, though?
From Japan, should be fine.

From Europe, might have LHD lights fitted, but bulbs should be the same?

All sorted now. Had to snip a bit of one of the fins on the bulb to fit it in. Was trying last night in the dark, in a hurry n fully pi**ed off. Everything's better in the day! Cheers anyway.

Hmmmmm.

A few questions spring to mind: what make of bulbs? And if you've had to mod it, how do you know it's now seated with the filament in EXACTLY the right place? because if it's not, you'll get poor beam pattern and scatter.....
