Replace dipped beam on Hawkeye
The driver's side dipped beam has decided to turn itself pink/purple so I know it's on it's way out.
Looked about for replacement bulbs but I'm not sure whether I've got HIDs or Xenon's in my Hawkeye 57 plate, I'm guessing HIDs but not sure how to tell. Anyone know how to tell which is which without taking it all apart?
Also, is it easy to replace the dipped beam headlights myself? I know I'll have to remove the battery, move bottles etc to get to the light housings or is it a case of removing the whole grill/bumper??
Anyone replaced the bulbs themselves and any advice??

HID and Xenon are differtent names for the same thing.
If you have GENUINE HID's, you will have projector lights and the bulbs will look like this:

Halogens are more like these:http://i01.i.aliimg.com/img/pb/743/5...593743_698.jpg
