putting in a switched live
hi looking for some advice on putting in a switched live
is there a space on the fuse board to connect a fresh live?
or is there another way of getting a live feed up to a switch on either the dash or centre consul?
as i dont use the cigar lighter is this a viable live to use instead of running a new one
car is a 98 facelift classic
looking to run some 12v leds
thanks

You can use the cig-lighter for LED's, yes.
get hold of something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-CIRCUI...item563a0e4542 to help you check you have found a switched live, not a permanent one.
Or bring one from the battery via an inline fuse and a relay. It's easy enough to come through the rubber grommet on the near side front bulkhead.
