Halfords brilliance bulbs
I had a headlight bulb go on my blob the other week. So as i have a halfords trade card and was passing on my way back from work, i decided to go in. They have the halfords ultra and brilliance bulbs as buy one get one free. So i dicided to change both to better bulbs.
I bought a couple of H1 brilliance and fitted that night (thanks for the crampt engine bay subaru ) but they are alot brighter! As in i get some people flash me now and again because they think ive left my full beams on. I even have the headlight level set to its lowest, but it seems the bulbs are that bright the light scatters so much in the cluster.
Anyone have this? Is there anything i can do apart from get dome dimmer bulbs?

Just flash them back ! Yours are perfectly legal , do their job well , and if they are level you neednt worry !
Got mine back from service/MOT with them bulbs and people flash me too , but just put mine to 1 setting below the highest . There is pleny of dodgy HID conversions for the "flashers" to worry about
