if its a bug

have you spliced into wires or plugged them in with spade terminals
you've somehow attached your dipped to main beam.
i made all connections outside the dipped projector light

trace the wire coming from the projector and it joins with two spades to the feed
join your ballast wires to this
colours on mine i think are red to grey and yellow to black

I am guessing it is a normal WRX bug not the STi with the standard HIDs ?

If so and youve got morettes then are you using the standard morette harness which converts it from H4 to H1 and H7 ??

Basically the HIDs ballasts are perminantly live and then switched on and off with the earth. Youll probably find out you are switiching it with the positive hence why your getting the problem

I am usually good with electronics and can figure most things out - but on this even I had to take it to an auto-electrician

Only cost £20 so I wouldnt even bother
