speaker size and recommendations
hi guys. just bought myself a new double din head unit with the full ipod control ect. but now i need good speakers to upgrade too. dont want to spend alot though and will prob go used like ebay or something. what size speakers for a direct replacement though? is there much space behind for the magnet ect?
for a 2003 blob STI type uk.

You can't go too deep as the window will catch when you wind it down. You can go up to 16.5/17cm if you get the right adaptor or make some MDF spacers. I have some Alpine speakers fitted, same as these...

The head unit does make a difference though as I wasn't that impressed with my orginal head unit but have now fitted an Alpine head unit and it sounds so much better
