ALTERNATOR UP RATE
ANYONE KNOW OF anywhere i can get a up rated alternator for my 2.5 classic,
ive a 70 amp on now but ive got satnav and its not putting enough back in.
ive had the battery checked and the alternator and both are OK and charging.
The battery is 12mths old and its still in warranty so no fault there, r.a.c man said its just not putting enough back in

you must have a bloody big sat nav if its not charging,
You do know that the Impreza has intelligent charging system where if it doesn't sense load it doesn't charge, try driving around with side lights on see if that helps your problem
