Default Subaru impreza wrx 93

Hi guys, I dont no if this is common or what, But i purchased my new subaru lastnight, its a v1 1993. But i have a problem, The front indicators have been taken out to allow room for the piping of the intercooler. So the indicators can no longer slot into there place, I need front indicators - Can anyone help me on what i can do here? Thanks

Nope, NOT common.
Who fitted the intercooler?

You could place the sidelights into the headlights, and use the sidelights as indicators?
You'd need some sidelight bulbs and holder and a method of cutting intio the headlight refector, then new bulbholders for the indicatyor bulbs in the sidelights.

But shouldn't whoever fitted the intercooler do this for you?

I purchased the car lastnight. Ive called the guy up about this but he's said that it was all done before he had it (receipts show this) yeah that is what i will have to do for now, just get some extra wire so it fits, some small side indicator lights, and a bulb holder for them (any idea where i could get the holder from for this? I will post up some pics showing you the problem. Its my first turbo scoob so I dont no a great deal about them yet, so any help is much appreciated.

Got an under bonnet pic?

Is the intercooler upside down, bumper (UK version ) looks raised in the middle.

Core and pipework usually goes as pictured below on classics.

I dont no if its upside down or not? its just damn anoying as i need to get the indicators sorted somehow. If it is upside down, Is there any reason why this would have been done? and would it be a big job to turn it around etc?

Looks upside down to me too.
Mine is like Mickey's, above: the indicators fit perfectly, and I'm even still running HID driving lamps.

I'd have the bumper off and check......or have it to someone who can.

I assume it's been mapped/tweaked for that FMIC? And any other mods?

autobahn 88 front mounted intercooler with autobahn piping and hard piping
baileys dv26 dump valve

I think you need to whip the bumper off for a look. I'm SURE no-one would even supply a kit that meant your indicators no longer fitted: rolleyes:

As for the d/v, I don't know. I'm a VTA dumpvalve hater, and wouldn't touch a Bailey with YOUR ten foot pole!

Fitted wrong and bodged into place, by the looks of it. Mines an AutoBahn FMIC, and my pipe work is different to yours;

As above, you need to get the front bumper off and see what's going on with the pipework.

DV, go back to the standard recirc, absolute piece of **** for you to do.
