Default Newage Double Din, 4x Gauges Facia?

(On a newage MY05 facelift dash)

As I dont suppose there is any such thing avaliable??:
Any ideas how to start making something to hold 4 gauges (2 above and 2 below in a square plate shape) in place of where my double din stereo is. The std Subaru double stereo will be binned and if there is still space underneath the gauges then I might fit another single din stereo, if not Im not bothered.

Is there anything I could use to start with or modify?
Anyone done anything similar on a newage?

Thanks

I doubt there will be much room after fitting four gauges in there. I would use a sheet of aluminium and make it the height as the gap and prob twice the width so you can bolt it to the origanal cage.

Cut out the holes to the right size and maybe carbon wrap it. Once you have the shape if bracket you like you could see about getting it copied into carbon sheeting which would be lighter and look nicer.

Thanks Martin, its a good way to start. I think the main issues will be how to attach the gauges to the sheet. I may just wrap it when finished in some carbon wrap. Any other options?

The U shaped mounting bracket that comes the gauges should do the trick in holding them in place
