Default Does the electric mirror switch light up?

Hi guy's, just wondering if the electric mirror switch nr the handbrake should light up on my classic 98 as mine doesn't and I was wondering if it would be a bulb blown. Had the switch out but can't see where a bulb fit's unless it's hidden inside. Any insight anyone?

How is that working out?
What colour LEDs are you using?
12V LEDs or normal ones plus a resisitor?

I've used a dash LED kit in green which I'm happy with far brighter than the standard rubbish bulbs. The Hazards and rear heater I've used green 3mm LED's with a restistor. I Fitted 6 LED's into the heater controls which was a pain to do but now lights as I wanted it to.
I'm just trying to find out which original bulbs are in the Fog switches as there's no room to fit standard LED's into the holder without chimping it.
Then I want a pod with green Boost, OP and AFR to fit the cubby hole on top of the dash.

I've just ordered some bulbs from UltimateMods anyway so hopefully they'll be good. Which bulbs came in the kit? Here's a link - http://www.ultimatemods.co.uk/led-car-bulbs.html

Thats what I'm planning on using, I've just ordered 4 T3 flush holders as they will be needed as I don't want to butcher the switch housing which I would have to do to solder them in directly. I'll let you know how I get on next week when I do them.

Too bright for me: what do you do out in the wilds?
Mine has no rheostat to turn them down, so I like them nice and dim......

No I have ordered separate leds, but could you have a look at the link I posted and see which bulbs on there they provide in the kit you bought?

Finally got around to back lighting my driverside electric window switches. Pain in the *** to do but look great in the dark. Used 3 3mm ultra bright LEDs fed from the board on 12volt resistors.

I HATE over-bright lights inside my car when in the sticks at night.
They act to close up the pupil so your night vision is destroyed/compromised.

I prefer my stuff too dim about town.
