Default can i put dccd lights on p1 cluster

hi ive got a p1 and im putting a 6 speed dccd box on but on my cluster i dont have the diff setting lights is their any was i could get the dccd light of a classic type r and put it on my cluster i dont know if it has space on the back of my cluster or if they are made the same and just changed the bezel on the front with means i would have the space at the back or if they made two different cluster units. i could get a type r cluster and swap the full thing over but then i wouldnt have my correct miles plus it would be in kpm and the rev and speedo clocks are opposite way round which im not keen on can any one help please ?

you can buy a type R cluster and swap your clock set over so retain your original mileage

I'm going to be looking at mine this weekend so will let you know...as far as I was aware you could just swap the clocks over as there were optional sti clock sets with a 10k redline and 280KPH speedo you could buy from Subaru.

sorry dude not sure I understand that question...what I'll be doing is swapping the whole clockset (like in the catalogue above), over and not disassembling the clocks themselves.

i've tried taking the clocks out like in the catalogue but the first problem is, it seems to be all connected to the circuit board at the back. The second problem is there are screws behind the back of the rev and km clock faces. You cant lift the clock faces off unless you take the indicator needles off and i dont just want to pull them incase i break them! How would you suggest a take them off? If you understand what i mean as im useless at explaining stuff lol!!

nowt wrong with your explanation...no idea how they come apart as I've not tried yet but I'll be doing my best to replicate what they have in the catalogue. deffo won't be removing the needles!!
