Is it a straight forward fitment to change the head unit on a 2005wrx (double din) original fitment to a modern single din unit?
would i just need a link lead from original loom to new headunit and some sort of tray to go under the new unit?

there are usually plastic adapters/inserts to allow you to do this; you will also get a wiring harness adapter I would have thought.
