2008 hatch boot alarm problem
Can anyone help me with my (new to me) 2008 Sti hatch. The only way to open the boot when I stop the car is to get out, set the alarm, turn it off, then press the fob button a third time quickly to unlock all the doors. Clearly an utter pain and I can't understand why it is so stupidly designed.
Not sure what the stock alarm is (?still a Sigma M30) but whatever it is, is there a way I can change this?
Thanks.

try the release all doors button on drivers arm rest in the door card? one click on the fob opens drivers doors but it takes two clicks to open all doors from the fob.

mine is set so that when i unlock the car, the driver door is the only one opened. When I get out I have the same issue, the other 3 doors + boot is locked. So, have to relock whole car, then unlock and then unlock again soon after indicators go out to open the other 3 + boot. Other way around it is to press button in the car before you get out to open all doors.
There is probably a way in the alarm to stop the driver door only thing. I think it is some sort of anti carjack stuff, dunno.
Richie.
