My 2000 Impreza Sport is constantly going into limp mode and the engine light is coming on, particulary when it is first started up in the mornings. After a wee while its fine and the light goes off and it runs ok.

The only thing that has been suggested is that it is because my exhaust has blown, could this be the reason?

Getting a new exhaust next week but until then Im wondering if there is any other possibilities?
