i have just got a greddy electronic boost gauge i have done all the wiring ok but when i got it didnt receive a map pressure sensor for it.i have got the wires that go on to it just wondered if you can wire these 3 wires into the orginal map sensor as it looks the same as the one i have to buy

what year of car bud? if its a classic 92-96 i think u need a later map sensor from a 98 car to up the boost as it will hit boost cut at 1.1 bar i think. therefore if you wire the boost controller to the orgional map sensor you wont be able to set the boost past 1.1 bar. this is just info ive read on here and im sure if im wrong someone more knowledgeable will be along to correct the errors if any lol.
