V4/V5 loom.

Is there much difference in there models wiring. If I was to buy a version 4 type r shell with loom intact I'm wondering if my 4 door sti version 5 engine components would work in ok.

There's quite a bit around the instrument cluster for a start.

It just dawned on me that there is likely a good bit of difference as the version 4 ecu and version 5 ecu plugs are different. Think I'll have to look out for a v5 or v6 type r to save a lot of work
