Hi pal. Had a similar problem with my Blob a few months ago. Do you have the PIN number for your alarm ? Have you tried entering it in to the number pad to turn your alarm off ?

Get the same sort of problem with my classic! lol.

I only get it when I park at a mates house.. Won't lock with the FOB. Sometimes it locks and then won't unlock... seems a bit random. Same as you i though batteries but turns out that its a signal that's being transmitted from the local police station that is interfering. Apparently automatic garage doors can do the same.

Sigma per chance?

Mate it may be different on a Hawk but on a Blob it is right near the fog light switches. Where the little coin pocket it - it pulls down to reveal the number pad.

I had the same problem with both my classic and newage....both car alarms do not work in a certain area due to a radio mast however my newage has recently just dropped both key fobs for some reason...there is a manual key sequence to press on the keypad which you can the re-sync the key fobs.
