Default Gauge wires

Hi i have a autogauge water temp gauge it has 2 red 2 black 1 green 1 orange wire does anyone have a fitting diagram i know what the green and orange are for and i take it i connect one red and black to the *** lighter but what do i connect the other live and earth to cheers

the other live go to battery terminal +, and earth go to any earth point in engine bay.

So it has a constant live aswell as ignition live ok cheers

The gauges usually want permanent and ignition live, plus an earth. After that, SOME want a feed for lighting too.

I WISH they were all the same but they aren't. Have you tried the Autogauge website for fitting instructions?

Yes tried there i got instructions with them but they suck its got 1 live going to ignition switch live then the other going through dash light can i just put them together

Ah.............that's good, thought it was these bl00dy pills the doc gave me, Gabapentin, I forget stuff. Now........what were we on about?
