Default MY06 Is there a trick

I have a JDM Hawkeye and what with having the HID headlights i want to change the sidelights from standard bulbs to LED bulbs, now i have the bulbs but is there a trick to getting the side lights out to change them?

Or do i have to take the whole headlight out? i can nearly get to the plug in the back of the lights but i cant quite get enough grab on it to either pull or twist it out how ever its done. i dont fancy pulling half the front of my car apart to be in the same boat still

Any advice on this silly little job, you wouldnt have thought i built a twin cam 16v classic mini with a question like this would you

Sorted, driver side had to remove two bolts to remove the air intake then there was enough room to get a small hand in, twist and pull and its out.

pass side just moved the top of the washer bottle to one side and the same twist and pull

Job done even if it is fiddley unless you have small hands

cheers
