Finally got to the stage in my car modding plans where i'm thinking of getting a mappable ECU.

The car however boost to around 1.1 bar so before I put my hand in my pocket I thought it was time I lifted the carpet and had a look at what was fitted.

Do the internals look standard?



I am however puzzled by the block connector in the following pics.


The wires under my finger go into the block but nothing comes out?

It's held in place with black electrical tape, not something i'd have thought Subaru would have done?

Any ideas guys or am I just being a divvy?

 

Completely Standard. My V3 Type R was exactly the same when I first got it.
