i have a couple of halfords ones in the boot just now and they do the job for that but doubt they would do for under the car.
salsa king - i had a look at xenoline and that stuff looks perfect but i want it in red!!! y, have they left such a common colour out?? i want basically the whole car to light up red if possible including under the car. any ideas???
msionline - had a look at that site too but cant find their neons on it. any ideas??

phil,
i have spent most of the day looking at various options. xenoline, motor world, demon tweeks and les smith all have their own versions of what i want.
my pal has used the normal neon tubes and its pretty poor. as in the fast in the furious, they use proper kits that Project the light onto the ground.
how good are the xenoline?? u think that will do the trick for inside and out?? the ones my pal has is 2 big tubes either side and smaller ones behind front and back bumper. would that flexi cable be better than the tubes?? he has smashed 2 of his already.
red would be ideal as i dont really want purple, blue or green. i have seen white which was an option as im considering getting my alloys powder coated white.
email me at barry_watt@hotmail.com or just post me back and let me know what you recommend including prices and how much in length terms etc i will need of the stuff.
cheers

as i said earlier i'm new to this at the mo, just setting the company up-dealing with Xenoline, been to the solicitors this morning to get Company name and distibution agreements set up...its that new!!!
i rang John at Xenoline at 6:20 this evening FOR YOU!!
told him you'd like outside Neon...he said Xenoline might not be the product for you doing like that!! BUT if you want underbody NEONs he can sort ME/YOU out with the stuff!!!
OK mentioned too that you looked at Xenoline car kit..but wanted RED.....he said they don't promote RED as its one of the POORER colours for showing up!!!!!! you might want to look at another colour!!
i not Technical about the products....YET..lol
i suggest you Email John at Xenoline
info@xenoline.com
make it the Attention Of John
tell him i sent you to get FULL info on the Xenoline products that suit your NEEDS!!
then i'll get back to him to sort out prices!!
THEIR online prices WOULD NOT be what you'd pay!!
don't forget!
there PRODUCT price is + $28 carrage (about£25) + 17.5% VAT when it comes to our country + Inport Duty too! so it can come Expensive buying online.
i can do better price as i'm ordering more and getting better carrage rates etc etc!!
plus i'm in dealig to be THIER European Distributor!!!! better price all round!
there Exonline car kits are INTERCHANGEABLE WITH DIFFERANT COLOURS!
or Email me off line if you wanna chat more, i have another IDEA for you to use on your car!!
i'm very happy with the Xenoline i have in my car...it does turn heads!

Salsa, while you are at your lawyers, check with them as to your maximum liability for "stealing" the idea from me, re the dealership for xenoline. I'll settle for a 5% royalty from your turnover, what say you?

If you are going to give me the "credit" for your million dollar enterprise, at least invest in some proper photos of your demo car, as those posted on this thread are awful and not likely to impress any potential customers, lol. How about some pics of you in your flashing t-shirts doing the salsa as well? You are selling an impulse item and you got to get your customers to say "I want some of that" when they see your promo.

Phil, you'll need one of those old-fashioned film camera mounted on a tripod set to a slow exposure of say 1/8 to 1/4 sec exposure (depending on the film speed) without flash, and the subjects (other than the car) hold very still. Most digital cameras are too automatic, read idiot-proof, to allow for time exposure, unless you got one of the high-end professional models that have most of the features of the SLR film cameras.
If you are going to carry stock, might save you a bundle to use sea freight instead of air parcel/courier to get your stuff sent over from the States.
Cheers.
