Default handbrake sensor

hi everyone,
ive bought a cd/dvd player last week but it wont play a dvd as i need to connect it to the handbrake sensor, so im asking where is it lol, as im new to these cars. i got a 2003 bugeye.

If it's the same as on a classic, which it almost certainly is, it's under the arm-rest cubby box, at the base of the lever. Remove the two screws at the FRONT of the cubby box after lifting the lid, and lift and pull free the trim panel from round the handbrake to the gear lever surround: it clips at the front.

Then you can see the handbrake base and any wiring.

just connect the wire for the handbrake to ground and you can play your dvd`s lol

The handbrake switch is just a switch to earth anyway.........

ok ill have a look next to the hand brake and ill connect it there but im sure there was no wires there....
