Is it possible to replace the aerial mast on a 96 WRX? mine won't go fully in any more despite cleaning it etc - Oh yes its the one in the rear wing!!

Well someone put it there, so I'd think yes. Removal of the inner trim inside the boot ought to show it's mounting, then it's a case of getting a new one, but either e-bay or a decent ICE dealer ought to be able to help

On other cars I have had you just undo the retaining nut on the out side, turn the stereo on and the mast comes right out with its plastic worm drive - but you need the correct worm drive to go back in.

I have looked on the bay but nothing comes up
