Not sure if this is the right section as everything seems to have changed recently but here goes. I am keen to fit the above in an 05 Blobeye but can't find an exact response to the size. The dimensions people keep giving me are bigger than the aperture in the dash but they tell me it will fit. I don't want to cut the dash I'd rather find something else. I have asked if it will be proud of the surround but can't get any sense from anyone.

So has anyone fitted this head unit or a deviation of it and if so did it fit without cutting and if so is it proud? Alternatively looking to spend £250 on an Ipod friendly double din any recommendations that doesn't need any cutting of the dash board to fit?
